Adré Schreuder completed his B Com, B Com Hons & M Com all Cum Laude at University of Pretoria. He started his career as Marketing Assistant at the former Department of Post and Telecommunication and later accepted a position as Lecturer at the University of Pretoria & soon after promoted to Senior Lecturer. Adré completed his Doctoral studies at University of Johannesburg (formerly RAU) and assumed a promotion to Associate Professor in 1992. His academic career soon earned him full professor & head of Department of Marketing at UP from 1994 to 1999. The second part of his career commenced when Adre resigned from academia and resumed the position as CEO of his marketing research consultancy full time in 1999 - called Consulta, that has grown into a large Customer Insights Consultancy. On his resignation from full time academia the University of Pretoria acknowledged him with the position of an Extra-ordinary Professor which he still holds to today. During 2012 a career dream was realised when he founded (& chairs) the South African Customer Satisfaction Index (SAcsi) under a license agreement between ACSI and Consulta. Adré is considered to be an internationally recognised subject matter specialist in the field of customer experience measurement and management. He actively consults to large, medium and small businesses and serves as non-executive director in numerous other companies.
